10 million people and only approx 1 million cars most roads remain clear.

Hungary is one of the leading coarse fishing destinations in Europe. The
quality of the fishing and quantity of the fish caught is exceptional.

As at the end of 2008 there were 13 golf courses in Hungary and more planning
to open in the future. Giving you a golf course within 30 minutes of where
ever you are in Hungary.
Horse Riding
Horses have played a very important part in Hungarian history and in the
lives of Hungarian people and this is reflected today in the high number
of excellent riding facilities – schools, stables and clubs.
Hunting
Hungary is well renowned as one of the leading hunting destinations in
Europe. The quality and quantity of the game is exceptional.
Sailing & Windsurfing
Lake Balaton has always been an area of pristine cleanliness and natural
beauty and only allowing low impact watersports such as sailing and windsurfing
ensures that it remains as beautiful as ever. It also ensures a fantastic
holiday for those lucky enough to visit Lake Balaton which is the biggest
lake in central Europe.
Skiing and Snowboarding
There are 5 ski slopes in Epleny, just north of Veszprem approximately
45 minutes drive north of Lake Balaton and during the winter months remain
open 9am to 9pm daily. Two of the slopes are lit and there are five ski
lifts along with snow machines which are used as necessary.
Walking
Hungary is known for its extremely diverse natural landscape. Ranging
from unspoilt marshland, steppes, bogs, river flats, pastures through
to forests and meadows the countryside is populated by a fascinating mix
of flora and fauna typical of the region.
Water Skiing and Jet Skiing
In an effort to safeguard the cleanliness of the water, private motor
yachts, motorboats and jet skis are not allowed on Lake Balaton. The village
of Vonyarcvashegy, on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, a water ski
lane has been built which is suitable for wakeboard use as well. The pentagon-shape
lane offers various fun elements.
